IIH Clinical Supervisor: Participates in and co-facilitates weekly treatment team meetings. Works effectively with subordinate staff to fulfill the mission of the agency. Maintains professional working relationships with resources and providers in the community. Completes Preliminary Assessment/Initial Plan of Care within 24-48 hours of assessment. Assigns cases and other duties to counselors and staff as needed. Trains or arranges for the training of new staff members and provides for the on-going training of staff members as needed. Evaluates staff performance. Takes appropriate employee disciplinary actions.
Qualifications: Must have three years of experience providing Mental Health treatment to troubled children and families; two years of experience providing clinical supervision to treatment staff. Must be Licensed to provide clinical services in the State of Virginia by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or actively receiving supervision from a LMHP in the state of Virginia for the purposes of becoming an LMHP as recognized by the VA Department of Health Professions and is currently registered as "under supervision".
Field Supervisor (MHSB): Reviews and submits Initial/Continued Stay Authorizations to Magellan and other managed Care Organizations. Maintain an active caseload of two MHSS clients. Complete quality assurance checks monthly. Assist with clinical component of new hire orientation for employees. Review the quality and overall implementation of services from direct support staff. Review progress notes, Individual Service Plans, quarterlies, and discharge summaries notes to ensure clients are working towards goals and objectives outlined by client and direct staff.
Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in the human service field. Candidate must have substantial experience working with MHSS clients. The candidate must have strong experience reviewing and completing documentation. A strong candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate the mission of Benevolent Family Services. A strong candidate for this Full-Time position must possess a high level of flexibility while demonstrating the dedication required to be a successful Team Lead.
Life Coach: Completes ongoing assessment of treatment needs. Assist in the development and ongoing monitoring and implementation of Individual Service Plan. Work with clients to foster the development of new improved independent living skills. Case management functions of linking, arranging for services and referrals. Maintain continuous contact with the identified consumer and other key stakeholders in planning and service delivery.
Qualifications: Qualified Bachelor’s degree and must qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with at least one year experience with adults. A QMHP is a person in the human services field who is trained and experienced in providing psychiatric or mental health services to individuals who have a mental illness. Ability to assist consumers in developing behavior and anger management skills, ability and skills to maintain required confidentiality regarding client case materials in compliance with the Commonwealth of Virginia Human Rights Code 2007 and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
